At Fable Software LLC, we take your privacy seriously. We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide our services, and we protect that information with industry-standard security measures.
We collect only the information required to operate our services. This may include:
Encryption at Rest: All stored data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption algorithms.
Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected using TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS).
SolarKnock (a Fable Software LLC product, sold to door-to-door solar sales organizations) sends SMS/text messages to sales representatives at customer organizations who have opted in. Recipients are sales reps employed by SolarKnock customers; we do not message consumers or homeowners.
Message types and frequency:
Opt-In (voluntary): When creating an account at app.solarknock.com — either as an organization admin via the Free Beta signup at app.solarknock.com/join-beta, or as a sales rep via an invite code provided by your manager — you are offered an SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is NOT required for account creation; the Sign In button is enabled regardless of whether the box is ticked. The checkbox label reads: "Opt me in to SMS notifications about my knocking progress (optional)" with the following disclosure shown directly below: "All messages are configured by your manager. Message frequency varies by manager configuration. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy." Your consent is recorded with a server-side timestamp only when you tick the box. SolarKnock only sends recurring SMS to users whose consent timestamp is set.
Opt-Out: You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any SolarKnock message. You will receive a confirmation of your opt-out. You can also contact [email protected].
Help: Reply HELP to any SolarKnock message, or email [email protected].
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies by the manager's configuration. Daily check-ins typically arrive once per work day. Appointment messages arrive as the manager schedules them.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
SMS Data — No Sharing: We do not sell, share, or use phone numbers or SMS opt-in data for purposes unrelated to the services you signed up for. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for delivering the messages described above.
Mobile information sharing: No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other data-sharing exclusions in this policy specifically exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other major US carriers.
We use trusted third-party services (including Twilio for SMS delivery and Stripe for payment processing) to operate our business. These providers are carefully selected and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
